The Brooks

The Brooks is a water-themed residential community by PRE Developments, spread over about 158 acres in New Cairo and designed by the architecture firm YBA. The project takes its name from the sound of running water, which PRE treats as the basis of a calm home. Water features, a light building footprint and open landscaped space are balanced throughout the plan.

Homes are offered in a few formats. Club Residence apartments come as two-bedroom units of about 115 square metres and three-bedroom units of roughly 135, 150 and 190 square metres, and there are standalone villas of about 283 square metres for buyers who want a private plot. The mix gives both first-time buyers and families moving up a way into the same community.

Community amenities include a clubhouse, jogging and walking trails, a sports area and a small strip mall for everyday shopping. PRE gives clear travel times: the project is around 10 minutes from Maadi and about 15 minutes from both Nasr City and Cairo Airport, which makes it convenient for people who work across Cairo but want a quieter address.
