City Gate

CityGate is Qatari Diar's large integrated community on the line between New Cairo and the New Administrative Capital, about 30 kilometres southeast of central Cairo. The developer positions it as the gateway to the new capital and plans it as a self-sustained city on roughly 8.5 million square metres, a scale well beyond a typical compound.

The master plan offers villas and apartments in a range of sizes, many of them facing a golf course, green spaces or parks. Around them Qatari Diar plans community centres in every neighbourhood, schools, international hotels, a sports club, business parks and a medical complex, along with entertainment venues. The idea is that residents can handle most daily needs without leaving the project.

CityGate is being developed in phases, and the developer has launched villa phases such as Jade Hills. Because it is a long-term master plan, different neighbourhoods will be at different stages of construction, so it is important to confirm the exact phase, delivery timing and unit types before reserving.
