AlJazi Developments

AlJazi Developments is the Egyptian residential developer behind the Marriott-branded AlJazi community in New Cairo. According to the company, it is developed by Gulf Building and Construction, a subsidiary of Seldar Misr, whose owner, Qatar's Al Faisal Holding, operates hotels and malls in Cairo, Alexandria and Hurghada, including the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence and The First Mall. AlJazi focuses on branded and serviced living under a licence agreement with Marriott International. Its New Cairo development combines residential buildings with a commercial district, a shopping mall and a hotel, and the company states it was the first residential project in Egypt to earn LEED certification.
